Training Aim: The training envisages developing the conceptual understanding of participants on organic farming with major focus on production, certification and marketing.
Expected Output
1. Participants will be able to differentiate clearly between traditional, organic and conventional methods on their farms.
2. will have a clear understanding of the principles and standards of organic farming.
3. will be able to practice different technologies of organic farming at their own farm.
4. Equip to critically analyse the approaches and methods of conversion and will be able to chalk out conversion plan for their farm/village/project or work area.
5. will be able to understand the relevance of documentation for certification and can get started.
6. will be able to identify organic markets and are aware of potential of specific commodities in the markets.
