State Training Centre for Organic Farming Majkhali (Ranikhet), Almora Uttarakhand These courses are addressed to farmers/ individuals/ professionals/Govt. officials/extension workers/ consultants already involved in organic agriculture or are willing to covert in organic agriculture. The participation will be on first come first basis. Women participants are encouraged to apply. Registration fee for the individual course covers all costs of training and boarding & lodging at the training center, excluding the travel expenses, which the participant has to arrange by his/her own. The registration fees shall be paid as DD in favour of Uttarakhand Organic Commodity Board payable at Dehradun and should reach to the UOCB office along with the application form well before the deadline.

Note :
1. The Participants must come suitably prepared with warm cloths, trekking shoes and emergency equipments like torches.
2. The Training Course has limited seats, which are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
3. The training course does not accommodate spouses, children or pets.
4. An application will be accepted only if accompanied with a registration fee.
5. In case of cancellation, an application will get a refund comprising of 80% of the paid fee only if the UOCB receives information at least 7 days before the commencement of the course. No refund request shall be entertained beyond the date.
6. The practical sessions may include the use of plant and animal extracts and/or parts.
7. The training offers an extensive study of Bio-dynamics and Effective Microorganism techniques, traditional Indian farming systems as well as conventional organic farming system.
