Establish the Organic Uttaranchal brand in the market and secure the interest and identity of the Uttaranchal organic farmer. Collaborate and network with institutions of repute within the country as well as overseas to obtain new technologies and upgrade skills on organic farming and related activities.

Interact and collaborate with bi-lateral and international bodies to facilitate and promote setting up of joint venture and projects in the area of organic farming, processing and production of various inputs, semi and finished.

Establish linkages with national and international R & D setups and orchestrate a research support program to ensure improved efficiency and cost reduction.

Carry out studies and surveys on all aspects of pre-production, production, productivity and products; generate information and data leading to a comprehensive and dynamic database and management information system through advance information technology for the growing globalization of Indian industry.

Provide consultancy services to various individuals, institutions etc in all aspects of organic farming; within as well as outside the state.

Render advice to State Government and local bodies on policies related to organic farming.

Assist the national effort on conservation of bio-diversity, genetic resources, and development and sustainable exploitation of crops of economical/commercial importance.

Accept grants and donations designated for the development and promotion of organic farming in the state.

Assist in provision of various services pertaining to Organic production including installation and maintenance of plants, Organic Production Collection, Grading and Packing Centers, procurement of raw materials, processing and marketing of organic raw and processed product.

Adopt and undertake any other measures or perform any other activities as may be required by the Govt. of India or by the State Govt. including other sponsor's/promoters.

Take all such decisions, which the Board deems fit for the achievements of its objectives.

Encourage, promote and carry out sustainable activities to improve the production of various organic products and help facilitate their marketing, brand building and other related activities so as to increase the incomes of the organic farmers; especially the small and the marginal farmers of the state of Uttaranchal.
