Capacity Building

one of the major objectives in attaining the vision of organic uttaranchal is to develop skilled manpower ranging from extension officers to farmers. The training programs of UOCB focus on the development of various aspects of all sectors like agriculture, horticulture, medicinal aromatic plants, animal husbandry and other allied sectors. For the last two years, the major areas of training include introduction to organic farming priniciples, organic certification, internal control systems and organic technologies. The major sectors of trainings were agriculture, horticulture, dairy and medicinal & aromatic plants. Apart from the technical training, UOCB has conducted number of training for skill up gradation and capacity building of farmers, rural institution and master trainers.
